Today me and Kruden had our third action station my action station is Origami.I built a boat, a hat, a plane, a fly and Yoda. In origami I had to take Kruden’s chrome book to class. In origami I learnt that it is hard to fold Yoda. In Origami I did not understand the part where we had to do difaceld folds and that all the Origami Parots are all on YouTube and YouTube is blocked.  I kind of liked origami because I got to learn new things. Did you know that though Origami is a favourite in Japan Origami actually originated in China and that “Ori” means “fold” and “Kami” means “Paper”. I want to one day be able to make an Origami sword and sheath. Here is a link to an Origami platform. LINK

Next term we get to choose another action station. Next term I want to do Minecraft or Ki O Rahi.

This week we started a new reading program. I liked the part where we got to read visual books and the new experience. I did not like the part where we had to do lots of paperwork. I learnt about Bok Choi in the story called Bok Choi. I did not understand any part of the story called Tautai.

Kai ora ko Oliver toku ingoa. This week on Thursday the 22 of feb we went to the beach. My favorat part was the games. My least favourite part was the water. I learnt why the life guards have a first aid kit . The part I did not undestand was the part where we had to do the talent show.

This week I have learnt how to improve my writing skills. i really enjoyed the part where we persuaded people. I did not understand the part where we chose what to do next week. I think all of this will help me get  better at writing.

Kai ora this block my class drew a picture of the fake grass. My favourite part was the drawing. When we did it we didn’t just draw the picture, we had to draw the front, the middle, and the back. Here is a picture of the picture I drew.     

for the last two weeks we have been doing a google slide on habitat. we had to put two animals in each habitat. i did 6 different habitats. my favorite part was the research. The 6 habitats i did were: the forest, the grassland, the jungle, the polar region, the desert and the ocean. here is a link to my work.                                               link

This term my class has been learning about plastic pollution and the effects it has on our environment. I have worked on plastic pollution.

I made up a google draw and it has bottle gifts on it. my favorite part of this task was when  I had to redo it three times. I am looking forward to our trip to save the sand dunes and waste management at sock burn metro.
